Tweaklogic

Founded in Adelaide, South Australia Tweaklogic develops secure software systems that allow satellites to process and analyse data in space using artificial intelligence. The company was established by Subhajit Ghosh, (a Linux kernel contributor and maintainer with over 40 upstream mainline patches), and co-founder Bhanu Kumar to address a growing need for sovereign Australian technology that can securely manage AI systems onboard satellites. Their platform allows organisations to train AI models on Earth and reliably deploy updates to satellites, even when communications links are limited.

  • Enables satellites to process data directly in orbit using onboard
  • Secure Australian-built software designed for space applications
  • Supports real-time analysis for Earth observation, monitoring and defence applications.

Tweaklogic is building an integrated software platform for intelligent satellites and edge computing in space. Their technology enables satellites to analyse large volumes of data directly onboard, reducing the need to send raw information back to Earth for processing.

Space radiation can cause ordinary computer chips to glitch or restart, so Tweaklogic is developing software that detects and automatically recovers from these faults, allowing satellites to deliver reliable results without relying on specialised, expensive space-grade hardware.

This approach improves speed, efficiency and responsiveness for applications such as Earth observation, environmental monitoring, space debris tracking and critical infrastructure monitoring. The platform also includes secure remote update capability, allowing satellite software and AI models to be updated while in orbit.

Tweaklogic targets satellite manufacturers and government space agencies needing sovereign onboard AI and secure OTA infrastructure, spanning use cases from debris tracking and launch detection to Earth observation. Their secondary market includes commercial payload developers and defence space programs across Australia and allied nations.

Tweaklogic is seeking partnerships with satellite bus and payload manufacturers looking to integrate sovereign onboard AI and secure over-the-air (OTA) capability. They welcome collaboration with government and defence space agencies requiring hardened embedded software for autonomous orbital operations. They are also open to working with mission operators across debris tracking, launch detection, Earth observation, and surveillance who need a flexible, updatable AI stack for their satellites.
